ramping up production to have enough stock to make it for the 2011 truck, seems odd. lol

sad that the kicked the 3.0L though... still kinda aggravated with that decision...

Wow thats well over a 1/4 million in just overtime per WEEK
Now wonder a ranger cost almost as much as a full size.

looks like cash for clunkers is the reason.

Is this the only truck that meets the cash for clunkers rebate? 4 cylinder Rangers?

Cool.

Now all they need to do is design more efficient motors and switch to composite body pannels so they get decent MPG.

As long as you get a 4 cyl., 2wd, there are a lot of trucks that can count for the program, depending on the vehicle you're trading in. Ranger/B2300, Taco, Canyon/Colorado, Dakota and Frontier.

Incidentally... the 4wd Taco and Colorado also count.

i've never heard anything good about the 3.0's... from what i heard they have the power of the 2.3's,a nd the fuel economy of the 4.0's
