Truck pulls to the right while braking

I changed my brakes on the front of the truck last week.

The driver side was fine still had some pad left. The passenger side was the worst I had to put on a new rotor.

I have noticed especially this morning on my breakfast run. When I'm doing roughly 40 m.p.h. and go to stop real fast my truck pulls to the right.

I cranked my t-bars but had a alignment done.

Sounds like the passenger is doing all the work and thats why its wore out and causing it to pull to the right. I'd check and make sure your drivers side caliper isn't froze or something

what do I look for?

I had to use the old pad and a C clamp to push the pistons back into the caliper. The boots weren't bad on them at all.

thatll happen with new rotors their new and kinda rough where as the old one on the other side is shiny and smooth so the rough one will grab harder and faster is all

well really not worn out but its smooth from having brake pads on it all the time so its almost like polished compared to the new one that hasnt seen a pad yet

Still doesn't explain why his right wore faster than front. But, I think they recommend you replace rotors in pairs for the reason Darkstar said.

they'll wear differently sometimes due to warped rotors and if you have had grooves in your rotors, but i dunno how much differently they wore so im not quite sure on that one.
