How Many Rangers ?
Hey everyone,
How many Rangers have you owened or have? What year & color? Which one was your favorite? Pictures would be nice. I've had a 91 XLT, Strawberry Red & my present 2005 Edge,Bright Red. Liked them both about the same.
Thanks, James Sorry I didn't mean to leave out the Mazdas.

I'd like to keep my Mazda running as long as possible, and would like to get a 2002 Ranger to slam as a summer toy.

I have had two Rangers, and if we're counting all RBVs, an Explorer too.
My first Ranger, a 2001 XL 2.5L, purchased May, 2004...
I recently saw it in South Charlotte, in the exact same condition it was when I sold it.
My 1995 Explorer Sport 4x4 4.0L, purchased in September, 2007 for $950...
Lots of fun, and pretty reliable. Rust was its downfall. It lived in PA for 13 years before I got it.
And finally, my current Ranger, a 2002 XLT Super Cab 3.0L...
All in all, the best one so far. I really miss the 4WD from the Explorer, and I sometimes miss the M5OD from my first Ranger, but as far as having a reliable and decent looking daily driver, the 2002 is hard to beat.

First vehicle was a 1990 XLT Ranger 2wd Ext cab blue auto...
It started off as my grandpa's then my mom bought it.
a couple years ago it broke down, we kept it, til we gave it back to grandpa to 'give him something to do' lol
Now I have a 1998 XLT Ranger 4x4 Ext cab red 5sp...
I plan to buy a new black FX4... but i might wait til the SVT Raptor!!! lol

If I ever actually have kids it'd be badass to give what would be a classic truck, but BA, to my son (or even daughter...chicks in trucks is hot) as their first vehicle. The truck that was my first vehicle.
Screw that.
She's my baby.
