How often do you replace your air filter?

Me? I bought my truck at 33K i think...I'm at 77K and just replaced it.

Apparently I drove through a coal mine a few too many times.

Well I'm hoping to get a K&N eventually. I'd like the "never have to change, just clean" part.

Damn thats dirty LOL.

Everyone says Fram sucks...but it gets the job done and gets it done cheap.

I typically replace mine once or twice a year depending on how dirty it gets.

I change mine when it looks dirty.
I also don't really care what brand it is. They're only like $15 bucks.

Ali agree with others, either every other oil change or when it looks dirty. I'm actually due now. I have to an oil change and I'll change that too.

I usually go about once a year.

I changed the Mazda at 1.5 years old... it wasn't dirty just felt better changing it! It's only been off the pavement twice so it's not in very dusty conditions!

Changed mine out at 30K miles and just swapped it out tonight for a K&N drop in which I plan to clean / refresh every 2nd oil change but that could turn into every oil change as it's easy and cheap to refresh.

I got a K&N around 1998 and haven't changed it since, only cleaned it 3 times too... it wasn't even dirty but I didn't think it would hurt anything to clean & oil it.

Damn, I bet you gained a lot of power back after changing that. Me I usually will change it every oil change to every other oil change. But I usually only change my oil every 6-8 months.

Holy mother of God...Looks like you dropped your filter in a pit of tar, removed it and dropped it again... Anyway, I have a K&N air filter that I never replace (ie. million mile warranty), I just re-oil it every 25k miles to be safe...
