Mazda B3000 Headlights

So I just toasted my Mazda B3000 headlight by mistake. I didnt keep an eye on it when I was using the heat gun to try and warm up the glue to remove the lens.

Anyhow, I was wondering if there are any headlights for sale that have the projector build in since these headlights suck in the first place.

I was thinking about building my own projector headlight, but since I need new ones, I dont want to cut up a brand new headlight.

Thanks!

Oh, and I should also mention, if there are no projector headlights for my truck, do the 2000 B3000 headlights fit my 2001? I know they are not the same, but they look similar and are $30 instead of $110.

Here are the 2000 B3000 headlights
Replacement 3161117RAS Headlight | Auto Parts Warehouse

Here are the 2001 (mine)
Replacement 3161125LAS Headlight | Auto Parts Warehouse

Anyone know if they are interchangeable? I know it is a long-shot but I figured it was worth asking!

I haven't seen any projector style headlights for our trucks, only aftermarket oem style. I need to replace my headlights as they have yellowed quite a bit but the cost of the lights is holding me back. I would bet that those 2000 headlights would work but I'm not 100%. I prefer the totally clear look of the 01 and up style as opposed to having the lines in the headlight. Otherwise, I would have tried this a while ago.

Yea, I know what you mean. I am tempted to try to make my own plastic covers.
