The determining factor is how much air your oump can move into the tank and for how long you plan on holding the note.....if its a short kind of deal a 2 gallon would work if you had a solid pump to quick fill the resevoir. If your pump is a stock pump or runs off some other system then it may not keep up with a 4-5 second blast. If youre an A-hole when you drive and you use your horn like a **** mag then go big or go home....4!!

show a pic of the horns -- if its REAL train horns you wont want anything under 5 gallons..7.5-10 gallons is perfect..
if its the triple trumpets from ebay that they so call "train horns" then you can go for 3-5 gallons..
IMO i wouldnt waste your money on the kit..put it together yourself..so you will have a better set up..

Go find a empty 20lb propane tank, break off the valve and hose it out let it air out upside down for a week or 2, they're 5 gallons and will last forever. Downside is there's only one outlet.
I've got a 30lb and it's 10 gallons and I can fill it to 150 psi and blow open a 1/4 ball valve and it takes about 3 seconds to dump.
Cost me nothing since I trash picked it.
My horns are on their way, be here wednesday, 175DB.
