L.E.D's for Rangers
Hey I'm Red_Ak_Ranger a.k.a. Aaron i've been a guest mostly but a member for a while. A lightbulb went out behind my gas guage so I am preparing to do one of the most horrible tasks; take apart my dash and fix it. So I plan on changing green look of my speedometer to red because my truck is bright red. But while I'm at it I'm going to replace my domelight with LED clusters.
I remember a few weeks ago someone posted a link to a website that sold clustered LED's and color patterned LEDs and such, and I was hoping someone could please give me that link agian! I'd be sure to get ya guys pictures so you guys could see what the finished product would look like.
Thanks, Aaron

Wow, that's weird because a light went out behind my battery gauge, and i was also planning on coloring all of my guages and needles at the same time.
The link you asked for can be found on John's CarDomain page...

No I'm not talking about changing the bulbs behind the guages. Although I thought of that, its sortof a hassle i dont want to deal with. I was talking about the dome lightbulbs but I think they cost 10 bucks each for the color ones i was talking about, since they are specially built. I decided against it though, because having too much color seems kinda "ricey".
As for the guages, I've decided doing hte photoshop guage mod that you can see at www.rangerpowersports.com . Its pretty sweet being able to put a picture in your guages; the only problem is I cant find a layout with 4wd on it.
