Humming noise in engine compartment

There is a humming noise coming from the engine compartment at 65mph and up. It almost sounds like it gets loud then quiet and loud again. It goes away when I let off the gas and the rpms drop below 2300. Anybody else had this problem before?

One you evict the midget from the engine bay and the sound is still there.
Maybe a bearing problem.
Power steering pump, alternator, water pump, belt idler bearings...

It could be your synchronizer, but those make a chirping sound that can be heard at idle.

How are your tires? Properly inflated? Worn or aged?

I had a humming noise in my recently purchased 04. Replaced the Goodyears wlith Yoko's and the hum is gone.
