I don't think theres a problem of ' working on an engine ' with the Ford 4.0, I have no problems changing my plugs every bottle or so..
I love takin money from those RICE owners as well.

One of my friends is a HUGE import fan, has this "race club" full of imports... he had a "meet" tonight at his place, so I decided to go... the looks I got from them when i showed up were awesome... i kept getting the "what do you have done to that thing" line. Smoked an 00 Explorer Sport tonight, which I thought was odd, since he should have the same setup as me, minus the 4.10 gears

Still a Ford here, as well as they're fast! My friend Matt's neighbor, whom I've just recently started hanging out with, has a 91 with a remote turbo... ran a 14.1 at 105mph at 5800 feet above sea level last weekend

The fact it's not "politically correct" to tell someone their Jap car is a Jap car. The fact it's fashionable to bash American "owned" companies and then hide behind "My car was built here" is bull$hit. To many Americans have worked to hard over the last century to give us the way of life we enjoy just to turn your back on it. Toyota #1 car maker....I didn't think I would live long enough to see that. Everyone out there with a Toyota I hope you're proud of yourself...way to go.

I beat the snot out of my trucks and deserve any grief they give me back. I've always have and always will buy Ford. I've never owned anything other than a Ford, Mazda, or Mercury.
I had a chevy luv field beater once but I try to forget those days =]
On the toyota note.....I wheel with a guy who has an '05 lifted TacoTRD. He's got twice the amount invested into the thing than I have into mine yet I'm the one who has to be the lead truck, I'm the one who has to pull him out, and I'm the one that catches **** at the end of the day for owning a Ranger. He still has the nerve to act like his truck is the hottest thing on four wheels. He's never had to pull me out though I respect the fact that he actually uses it but damn.
He thinks his truck is hot **** when in all reality it's just a cold TuRD.

Heaven forbid, The American Auto industry stopped making cars and trucks so they could aid our Warmachine in making tanks, jeeps and aircraft parts when the ***** and Japs were looking towards world domination.
In the late 70's, The Japs called the American Auto workers Lazy and makers of inferior products. I can go take pics of no fewer then 5 or 6 of those UAW trucks on my street right now, still running and being used. Wheres the Rice/Kraut products from that time if they were so great?
Even after being taxed to death ( while rice companies are given shelter for opening up plants here ), That alledged ' godly ' TuRD ' ( nice acronym l2en ) still costs more then a Ranger and it doesn't compete in ' Bang for the buck ' performance ( after making a sizable profit to go back to Japan, where they subsadise the costs of their cars for their people ).
Its just ' Bad ' these days to say anything good about this country or support its products. How Noble.
