Looks great! I have thinking about doing mine but like Shane just said I may go with flat black. I was also thinking about taking them off to paint them but as long as you mask it properly it's probably there is no reason to take them off the truck. And if you take your wheel liners out i think you can release the clips that go into the fenders/bedsides from the inside without messing up the clip or the slot they go into.

I always wanted to paint the flares on my ranger but was afraid to see how they would look after lots of gravel, mud, bushes and branches. Same with the plastic on my sport trac. And actually I'm getting tired of having to put tire shine crap on the flares of my F150 every time I wash it because they fade so bad.
The fenders flares on my ranger had some good scratches in them from over-grown trails or driving through trails with snow/ice covered trees being weighed down, and hanging into the trail.
