Show me your modded OHC

So tomorrow starts my 6 day vacation from school and work and I need to do something to my truck. It's been awhile and I can tell it's getting pissed at me per the CEL I got 2 weekends ago lol. She's got an attitude I tell you. And all my friends laugh when I tell them I don't need a girlfriend when I have to deal with my Ranger everyday HAHA. If they only knew. But I digress.

I have a grey OHC that I have started to work on and I should probably install. All I need for it is the hardware (2 screws for mounting the plate and a hobby screw for the garage door button as one is missing). I don't want or need the electrical junk. So I took the whole computer out and blacked out the glass. I left all the lighting stuff. I want that. I still need a sunglasses holder but besides that it's good. I am thinking of moving my foglight switches up there. I have 3. Stocks fogs, off road fogs, and reverse lights. Has anyone done any electrical modding to their Expo OHCs with switches and stuff? Pics plez!!

yeah I found a couple of sungalss holders in the salvage yard. So you are sure you are not going to wire the temp. sensor and everything? I guess it would be pretty cool for switches and stuff.

Off topic: Im welding up a bridge thats coming your way.

Cool. Well if you go to yard again anytime soon grab one. I will do like $15 shipped for it.

Welding a bridge? What? I don't remember talking about that.

So basically. Meant for someone else?

Looks like no one has routed switches up there. Interesting. Might be on my own with this one.

This what I did, switches replaced the digital readout (no need for it), replaced the bulbs with LED setup for Map lights and the rear compartment will house the Head of my HAM Radio.

It is installed but no pics of install.

That is freaking sweet. Sirius radio in the OHC, very original man. I dig it.

no electrical mods to mine but I did put a piece of blue film inside to make the readout alittle darker/bluer. And some satin black paint and silver paint on the buttons

what information does the OHC give you...
Temp and direction I see from photos.

I installed one in my Jeep Liberty, and I get mpg, avg & instant, service interval, odometer, hours traveled, and some other options i can select, door locks, auto dim stuff like that.

Just curious what the ranger OHC displays.

Right now I'm just trying to decide what type of switches and where/how I want to mount them. And I also need to hardwire the map light to come on with the dome light.

try ebay and search for 'lighting gels'. I had some blue ones already laying around.
Mine made a small differnece but that's all I wanted. I didnt want to go overboard and make the readout too dark.
