I blackedout.... The 03 looks much better. Painted Flares/grill

Well after many hours of masking and painting and putting my old Edge bed covers on, The 03 Is really coming along. Very happy with the Krylon Fusion paint. Works great on flares and bumper cover. I went with Satin Black. Still need to freshen up the door/tailgate handles and get a black rear bumper cover or paint mine. Also the Edge bed caps are getting painted next weeked. I ran out of paint.

**** If you decide to do this... make sure to mask very closely and clean and scuff the surfaces your painting******

Why not just take the flares off to paint them?

Have you ever taken 01+ flares off? You basically destroy the flares. They are tuff to remove. I had no problems masking

Johnbaum13 painted his front bumper cover a few years ago and it's held up really well... He's the only that told me to just paint em. We will see. Worse case I have to repaint them

they're cake.....cut or remove the christmas tree's, and pull. No destroying of anything but the clips over many times of pulling on them(mine have been on and off probable half dozen times.. I have a complete new set of them clips im putting on for when my flares go back on.

looks good ben.
