the ranger was crap
i finally got the guys phone number and talked to him

the interior floor pans were patched back together from all the rust
rust spots everywhere on the bed that he didn't show in the pictures
the engine is a 2.0 with a noise in the trans.
and 180xxx miles
long bed ( i like short beds but thats just a personal preference)
i'm not even going to bother driving the 2 hours to go look at it with my own eyes


SO it looks like i'm just going to buy a DD vehicle and get another 1st gen as a project only....and build it the way i want with a drivetrain of my own
so keep an eye out for a new project thread

the first truck took me 2 years....the next one may take a bit longer
