Bronco II, fair price?

Looking for a vehicle for my son, came across an 89 Bronco II with 21,000 miles on a new motor and transmission installed by ford, new a/c compresor, shocks and tires all with 21,000. Recently got a new radiator.

Has a power steering pump leak and the passenger front fenders are peeling a little clear coat and will have to be redone to look nice. No rust, Florida vehicle.

Sorry no pics, I see the guy today at my mechanic to have him look it over for any major issues. If it is clean as he states, what's a fair price on this? He is asking $2,400. KBB and Nada have this vehicle in great condition @ 1,200 - 2,400, but I'm sure that price isn't including new engine or tranny. It's also not great condition because of the paint. Interior is supposed to be very clean.

Appreciate opinions and advice...before 12 noon today! I see him at 12:30pm.

Thanks, Grizz

Wasn't a 4x4, and I was thinking $1,800 also.

The engine, trans and a/c were as stated. Clean? Hardly. When someone posts clean, you expect not to see shoe polich staining the finish, a clean headliner and not one that looks like someone was trying to get out through the roof. Power windows, well yes that was an option. They didn't work. Nor did the power locks.

I was expecting to see a vehice that needed a little paint touch up. The whole vehicle needed a thorough interior and exterior renovation. I was disapointed that the dscription did not match the vehicle.

A whole different meaning of clean. I would have paid $1,200 and that's it. When you are that far from the asking price, it is not worth it. I was a little irritated.
