I need help with my ranger asap please

Hey, my name is Ashley and me and my boyfriend have an 01 ford ranger, 2.5, 2 wheel drive, 4 cylinder, and we have all brand new spark plugs, wires, coil packs, two intake gaskets, throttle body gasket, exhaust manifold gasket, put a new thermostat and thermostat gasket on, and put a new timing belt on and set the timing. We went to a store after driving to Jacksonville and back to mulberry and put $10 of gas in it and it has been messing up since. We drained all the gas out and put 93 octane gas in it and it is doing the same thing. When we go to take off it shakes really bad and acts and tries to turn off but once you are on an open highway, and it gets its speed up it runs perfectly fine, it is only when we have to come to a stop or slow down that it wants to shake and shut off and have hardly any power getting it to go again. We are so lost and dont know what else it could be, anybody have any ideas? This is our daily driver and we are stuck at the moment so any information would be great. Thank you in advance.

Sound like a bad vacuum leak. Check to make sure the large vacuum hose is connected that goes from the metal pipe between intake runners 1 and 2 up to the bottom of the throttle body is connected. This is missed so many times when the intake is off. The small length of hose goes from under the throttle to under the upper intake manifold to the pipe. If this isn't clear enough let me know.

It may have been connected before but not pushed on all the way (just pushed in from bolting down throttle body).

Follow the small 1/4-3/8 pipe seen between runner 1 and 2 upto the throttle body:
