I need a picture of where the thermostat goes

where the upper radiator hose attaches to the engine. Usually the neck that the hose connects to is removed and the thermostat is under it.

An engine size would help if you want more specifics.

I dont have a pic, but if you follow the top radiator hose you will find a metal tube. Follow that tube to the engine block, iti s mounted vertically on the front of the block. You will need a 10mm wrench and it is easier if you remove the intake ducting, but it is still a PITA to get too. There are 3 bolts, all of them in the worst spot, but it is possible

On a 2004, the 4.0 will have a plastic tube, not metal.

Don't forget to drain the cooling system.
