Bed Rail Caps
#2
I installed Bushwacker Bushwacker - BedRail Cap Ford on my Mazda b2300.
I'm not aware of aftermarket chrome bed rail caps but Putco makes nice chrome bed rails: Putco Bed Rails - Putco Truck Bed Rails - View All Styles

I just loaded the bed with very heavy steel shelving from a grocery store and the 10 year old Mazda truck bed liner took the product without issue.
The Bushwacker bed caps are of a softer material than the 10 year old Mazda OEM bed liner and they have several scuffs/shears of material off of them.
That's frustrating, and makes me realize that OEM stuff can indeed be much better than aftermarket regardless of the marketing hype by the latter.
I wonder how well a Line-X coating could hold up to heavy steel, grocery store shelving.
I think these bed caps are more glamour than substance. But, they certainly protected the painted steel bed from gouging down to the metal. I just wish they were as hard as the OEM bed liner material.
My Bushwacker's, after dropping $90 bucks on them, are permanently marred after just one hard use. Arrrggghhh!
