I secretly did. I mean, what good is a 4WD pickup when you live out in the country and it has stock wheels and suspension on it?
My last truck was a fully done B2200 and my daily was a Cadillac Catera before it's motor decided to grenade itself on the highway.
I took over ownership of the truck from my dad after my Cadillac died and it's been such a good truck to me for the last 6 months as it had been to my dad for the past 6 years that I know I have a solid and reliable vehicle to work with now.
However my dad isn't too enthused about my ideas. "You're buggering up a perfectly good truck."

haha yeah when I first bought my truck I NEVER had any intention of modding it. Although I was still a member of this site I never really checked up on it too often. over the months I started seeing other peopels trucks and though hey I want my truck to look like that. Started reading/searching etc/seing other peoples trucks and said hey I'm gonna make my truck like that. Now I'm in the proccess of saving for a Bl. Haaha.. already bought my rims and tires :-) and did a bunch of other little things to the truck to make it look better. rangers ftw!

haha why's that?
The mod bug for me is bad...I'm 23 next month and my B4000 is the 15th vehicle I've owned since I was 16.
15 vehicles divided by 6 years = That I go through roughly 2.5 vehicles per year.
Other than my green B2200 posted above, my other most highly modified rides were a 1995 Ford Contour V6 5 speed base model which I converted into an SVT clone, even though they didn't make SVT's til 98. This car was freakin quick, but was always broken. I think I spent twice as much money on repairs as I did on mods. My other one was my first car which was an 87 Toyota Celica GTS notchback coupe. I did a bunch of engine and exhaust work to it, put some wheels on it and rolled it all through the last 2 years high school. It was a chick magnet haha.
After I sold the Celica and got the Contour I was asked "why did you get rid of the sports car for a family sedan?" I just answered "well, you never know how many of those girls I might have knocked up."
