Difference between models?

Hi I'm new here because I'm looking to buy a ranger but I was wondering about the difference between each models like FX4, XLT, EDGE, etc. I need a truck with a locking differential so what could you suggest me? I guess the FX4 is the "off-road" model so it should have a locking differential, is it right?

thx a lot, much appreciated

FX4 Level 2 has the gear style limited slip, bigger axle 31 spline shafts, better shocks, full skids

Some FX4s, and some EDGEs have clutch style Limited Slips, 28 spline shafts, just some skid plates

XLT and some EDGEs are 2wd, 28 spline shafts, open diff on most.

There isn't any ranger 4x4 with a real locking differential? only LSD diff? By locking differential I mean all time locked or auto-locking when slip.
