problem wich gear box

hello, I had to change the gearbox and also I had to change the speed sensor bearing, place the E9LF-9E731-AA sustucion the F37F-9E731-AA, but it turns out that placing the smallest interlock may be placed to senson, do not check the truck over 40 km / h when in fact it is 140 km / h, additional mark the odometer also very slow when it has traveled 400 km on brand were only 100 kms.

I have much interest in solving this problem and the truth nose than anything else could do but change the box again, there would be any way to change the relationship at the level of programming on the computer, or if there is another model of sensor that may be placed . reviewing a site I came across a P / N E9LZ-9E731-A, this is a lot like the previous ones but not if you have some modification.

if anyone knows how to make the odometer work properly warn ...

I have a small problem with the speedometer, after you change the gearbox, the new uses a speed sensor P / N E9LF-9E731-AA, the previous case using P / N F37F-9E731-AA.

this difference of sensors does not allow the speedometer dial the correct speed, the speed differential waste is very large.

I wonder if anyone knows how I can fix this problem ...

can you place the old sensor in the new gearbox? are the new and old sensors the same length? will the same amount of sensor be inside of the transmission?

I can not place the sensor earlier in the same place again, the first is mounted on the gearbox itself, and the new is placed on the transfer.

what happens is you change the gearbox.

I read somewhere he could put the sensor P / N E9LZ-9E731-A. but I'm not sure ...

if I did not say, is a 5-speed gearbox synchronous

you will need to get a gear box that has the same style sensor your original gearbox had. the kind of sensor that is mounted on the transmission and not on the transfer case. this gearbox can be found in 2001 or newer model rangers

you are using a box now that uses a gear driven speedometer sensor, the box your truck came with uses a hall effect sensor that works off of magnetic waves...they are not interchangeable because your computer is programmed to only read the hall effect sensor
