i dont own a ranger yet but definitly gonna get one. when i get a ranger which one should i get i have 2 that i like. and i definitly have to get 4wd manual 4.0 ext cab.
right now i have two choices that i want
1) 2001-2002 ranger edge
2) 2002-2003 fx4 off road

im leaning more twards the fx4 but what are the pros and cons of each truck and which one do you guys think is better or more worth it.

What are your goals? Nice stock truck or you plan on aftermarket mods? That determines a lot.

Ditto,

What's your main factor you want in a Ranger?

If your unsure but either of those things, no big deal. Whatever style of Ranger you go with, they all have 1 thing in common, reliable! -Mike-

ok well you want 4.0 definately then. Also, if it has a limited slip in the back end is good. You could always take one without a ls and upgrade to a locker in the back though.

Eh, putting a locker in a regular 4x4 would be even better. And he's getting a manual tranny and 4.0 anyways.
