A helpful tip to you...

Well, it rained....a good bit ,where I live at, and the roads were messed up. Well, I just want to give yall a tip. Here's the story. My brother was driving cause I didn't want to drive and text at the same time. I bout hydroplane today but thank God that I have SKILLS and CAN control the danger ranger. . Anyways. We were going back to our property down the dirtroad that runs through it and it's mostly sand and rocks. We were going in 3rd gear and my brother came up where the sand pits are in the road. He was to busy running his mouth and wasn't thinking. I knew we were in trouble right when he shifted to 1st gear and our speed was like 5mph. We were in my Ranger and it sits low and is 2wd-street tires. Well.....look at the pictures...you can tell from there with what happen..

My tip...don't drive to slow going through sand. Give it the gas!!!! Stop before you see the mudhole and see if you think you can make it. Install a winch as well, if you want. :)
Yall should already know this.

Yeah, and there ain't no bottom to the stuff. Got stuck on my deer lease down in Houston Co. Tx several times on the 2-tracks. Having only my wife, a shovel, and a come-along it took hours to get freed. My F-150, being bigger, could sink deeper before it was on the frame. Pita to get out when you have no second vehical to help. That ruined the last day of deer season one year.

if you live where these type of roads are, why don't you have a lifted truck with better tires? if not a 4x4?

They are 14 size rims...they stick out wide. I plan to sell em to my brother so he can put em on his Camaro. I plan to sell the Ranger too.

The reason why I didn't get a truck with the lift was because I didn't have enough of money for one and I needed a 4cylinder and a truck right away.
That's one reason why I am fixing my 4x4 Courier up and get the 4x4 locks fixed on it. We live in a swampy, sandy area.....good soil....good farming....good bogging...
