35's with no gears..

Has anyone ran their truck on 35's without swaping gears? I am planning on picking up a set of 35's this saturday and the funds wont be right for gears till around christmas. The truck is a DD and I can get where I need to be without going up steep hills. My buddy has a '95 yota four banger on 35's and he didn't regear, its a pig but its not too bad. any thoughts?

oh yeah it is a dog. Not sure about the gear ratio. I've undercoated the truck a few times so the axel and tag on it is covered black, is there anything on the inside of the door I could look for?

mine was a dog on 35s and 4.10s with the older 4.0 for the few days i drove it

to tell you the truth though it didnt feel that much different between the 33s and 35s... nor did it feel any different between 4.10s and 4.88s with 35s

My buddy just blew up his auto in his 98 with a 4.0L and 3.73's... Swapped it for a manual and now is doing 4.10's soon.

Be careful. IMO, if you can afford the tires, fork out the money for gears... Motor/tranny depending

Crap, that's a big tire for 3.73's even with a 4.0.

88range, I'm gonna agree with everyone else and say re-gear.
