Running hot at the beach
Does any body else's truck seem to run hot and over heat easy when playing around at the beach? It seems like my truck starts to get really hot quicker then others when playing in the sand.
I no that the on top of the front crass member it gets packed with sand from me pushing it around so you think it could be that sand could be covering the bottom part of the radiator where it goes low behind the bumper? I have the factory "skid plate" still on there (hardly) so I would think that would help.
Also a friend said that the transfer case can get real hot when driving for several miles in 4low in the sand. I didnt think it would get hot enough to hurt any thing tho, right?
