new diff cover

well, i put 5.13s in today, and well we were expecting to grind the ring gear, or notch the cross pin, but hey what do ya know it fit with out doing with. But then, sure enough, after it was all set up, went to put th ecover on, damn it hits the ring gear. So we heated it up, and "reshaped" me a new one. I think im just going to get a new factory cover, and get the BTF ring that you can use as a spacer, or as a template to build your own. I want to get the full cover, but i dont want to spend that much right now.

That is the cheapest one I've seen thats a full cover. My BTF one was 165 shipped. All the holes lined up perfect and its beefy as heck. Dunno bout the ruff stuff one but it sure looks to be quality.

why of course i have. Ah i love it, exept, now my speedo reads way faster than im going, rather than way slower. even with 33s to try to lessen the margin. but, oh well, thats why i got a gps. But i am not beating on it yet, still need to break them in for a few hundred miles.
Im still skeptic on buying a full cover, because we had to beat the bulge in the cover about an inch wider then factory. So i dont know where the ring gear will land on the others. So im more set on just running the BTF spacer, and find another factory 8.8 cover.
