Locked My Keys In My Truck

Does anyone know how to get into a 2007 Ford Ranger Manual Truck? Like the locks are manual. I've tried the hanger in the door but it's not strong enough to pull the handle on the inside.

I actually had to do the trick the other day. Locked my keys in at the auto store so I just went in and asked for a wrench to take the thing off. Felt so embarrassed cause they all know me real well and never locked my keys in before.

if someone wants to break in, theyre gonna do it no matter what. There is no "fix" to make ANY vehicle thief proof.

I dont understand why this is such a sensitive topic.

This won't help you get into your truck, but FWIW, I always keep a spare key for my current vehicle in my wallet.

I keep at least two other spares at home - obviously I'm a great believer in spares.

CAA (AAA in the states) or any reputable (or even disreputable) tow truck operator will know how to get into virtually any vehicle, and they usually have the specialized tools (and the practice) to do so efficiently.

Other than that, all I can say is that the good thing is that usually, something like this will only happen once, since next time, you'll probably be prepared (if you've learned your lesson).

Oh, and I'm not prepared to outline how to use the antenna trick either.

since your truck is new, where is your spare key. or did ford start only giving out one set of keys?
