what is the difference between a 2003 and 2004 ranger 3rd brake light? cant find any aftermarket 3rd brake lights for anything newer then 03. is there significant difference?

 

All the same.......no differences besides some having the cargo lights. But they all fit and have all been the same size/shape since the beginning of time.

thats even better to know, as they have a better variety. any particluar year SD? or are they all the same from 99-09/10?

thinking of christmas presents for my gals Ranger. Also thinking about getting a set of the blacked out headlights. i dont have the time or patience to do it myself.

 

yeah...all the same. Throw in 00-06 sport trac's too. 06+ super duty's are more sought after...they light up brighter than the standard ranger lense. But I'm talking OEM. You'll see that those LED ones says they'll fit ranger and superduty.

remember, 04+ don't have the wiring for the cargo lights. In the how-to section, there's a how-to.
