me and a friend did my fiance's jeeps rear gears and locker, (although we were in the auto hobby shop, so we did have MOST the tools we needed, but not all), tried the front, but ended up screwin sh#t up, and had to take it to a local mechanic.. 240 euros JUst to fix what the previous owner had done to the wheel hub.. prob. gunna be around another 300 euro's for the install of the gears and ECTED locker..
diff work is not cheap.. just givin you a heads up..

Well hes not really a "friend", my buddy's buddy whom i've never meet..He was a Ford mech and now in bizz for himself, and said he has installed lockers and gears...Maybe i missheard him and its 300 per axle...Anyways, another friends friend said 180 per axle, but he'll have to see the gears first, cuz he usually wont install gears he didnt purchase..??

NICE!
Oh...looks like a new crosspin in that box to me...
I'm dropping my axles off today.....$150 per axle. I indirectly know the guy...he does LOTS of business with my buddy's. He knows his **** too.......never had a warranty r&p in 12yrs @ randy's. Was offered a job as head installer there as well.

I think its the thing wrapped up in paper in the install kit. Woo hoo on the 35s, you gonna try to run them with just the body lift or wait until you lift it again?

haha. 300 bucks? you siad its a friend doing it? well hopefully hes a good friend and knows what he is doing.. We took mine to a long time family freind who is a master mechanic, and also builds stock cars for a living.. since hes such a good friend he quoted us at 150/axle.. HAHAHA.. yeah ended up being 400 for the front and 500 for the rear..
not a great friend if he jew'd you that bad, the shop i get work done at charges $350. if anything the front should have been more.

4.88's and 35's puts me slightly lower gearing than stock and 30.5's. 4.56's and 35's puts you slightly higher gearing than stock and 30.5's.
Stock 4.10 w/ 30.5's...Add 35's....to be equivelent to stock, the ratio is like 4.66:1. But nobody makes that gearset...so...4.56 or 4.88 for more spirited in city driving.
DUDE.....you with 32's......man.....you'd be driving like it had 5.13's or 5.29's!! FLYIN' is right. lol.

I HAVE 4.88s. I have first hand experience with them. I am not giving you advice nor any one else advice unless i have done it or seen it first hand. I also HAVE 35s, with my 4.88s.
