MP3 player access on Factory radio

I wanted to know what years did Ford start having the MP3 access on the factory radio's. I have an 02 and I was wondering if they added to later years. I like to hook my MP3 player up to my radio.

07 or 08. I used a USA Spec system in my 2001 Mustang to hook up a aux unit with the stock radio. Works great.

Are you going to be using any MP3 or an Ipod? Because if you are using an Ipod you can get an aux input adapter or Ipod controller but if you are using any other MP3 player you can only use the input.

My dad and I both have USA Spec adapters in our rangers, plugs into the CD changer port in the back of the factory radio. we both got ours from circuit city, I paid 60, he got his for 11 when they were going out of business. Check Ebay to thats where I got my second one after the first was stolen.

Aux input: PIE Precision Interface Electronics Online Store - DPx+ AUXILIARY AUDIO INPUT FORD

USA Seec no longer makes aux input adapters only Ipod controllers. So if you are not using an Ipod then the PIE brand is your choice. I'd personally go with an aftermarket head unit with an Aux in.

Yep, a few companies still have them in stock. I got mine from some random site a month ago that had 1 left in stock.
