Yeah i called the guy. He is very easy to get along with. Told him that i changed my mind and was still interested. Now to sit down and make a list of stuff to order....

ok im gonna change this thread up a little bit.

I plan on a 351,solid axles, nothing smaller than 35's, wanna restore original graphics and keep the silver color, black rims (undecided)

What are your opinions?
351 or 302?
Dana 44's?
What tranny should i go with?
Also what gear ratio would be best?

I will drive this thing on the road (not everyday) but i will take it off road plenty.

talk to my91ranger, rob is a good guy and he's done a v8 swap into that exact same model.

i'd say 351, but i'm sure you'd get some guys that are gonna say do a stroker kit with a 331 or 347.

i'm assuming that you bought it?

morris i agree (but disagree) **** 331 347... do a straight bb swap... 351w

i was told to go with a 302, because parts are easily available.
