ah. reminiscing over the past... TONS of pics
I was looking through my photobucket and found a bunch of pics of the Ranger. Made me kinda sad, its amazing how much i miss her!
Here are some transformation pics on the ranger,
Enjoy.
When i First got her:(only the cb installed)
and after we started modding her:
the cattle gaurd was the first thing:
then the suspension lift and Tires(35X12.5R15):
also the exhaust is on in these pics
this is how she sat when i was driving her home from the shipping yards in germany:
sitting next to the Jeep we had:(4" sl and 3" bl with 35's)
Then it was time for the Body LIft:
missing the front bumper( had to take it to a guy off base, he fabbed up some brackets for the cattle gaurd)
missing the rear bumper as well:
then I picked up a roll bar from a member on here:
front bumper back on, minus the cattle gaurd:
did some wheelin'
Finally got the cattle gaurd put on, and all the lights on :
beefey *** brackets the guy made for the cattle gaurd:
and that my friends is how it sat when I sold her. I did have to put new heads/pushrods/etc on her though, both heads were cracked.
and the new truck:
Oh how i miss the Ranger.

Come to think of it you are right. The Sport color matched grilles were all the same for 4x2 and 4x4. The non-chrome 4x4 grilles from the 98-00 were always black.
