man i got a story about s10s...
so the neighbour friend has an s10 reg cab 4x4, toyota rear bumper and hitch, roll bar with lights and a set of bew 31" A/T's, no insurance, was just a bush truck with no brakes, is a 5 speed, kid had no DL ... so in 2008 there was 3 of us, the neighbour friend, a friend from down the road and me and we strapped a dodge caravan bench seat in the bed of the truck and would tool around in the mountains have a couple beers, grab some firewood and hit some dirtbike trails and stuff.. then we were pissing around at our local gravel pit(300 yards up the road from us) having some beers and the owner of the truck (as mentioned above) was drunk, i had a couple but wasnt drunk.... anyhoo.. he decides to jump his truck.. and wow can those things fly.. holy ****!!!
Got the jumps on a friends video camera, and he cracked the bell housing, he jammed it though the gears and did a few more jumps... he had no clutch so i had to tow him home with the ranger....
then he finally gets the truck fixed (there was an s10 5 speed up at the gravel pit that was rolled and set on fire it was sitting there for a long while) so this friend and i grabbed a couple beers and my ranger and some tools, took the bell housing, t-case, tranny and driveshaft out of it. he got his truck fixed. then we were up at the pit again and he comes down this big *** hill in 4low at a pretty good clip, still has no brakes and he starts to turn, truck starts hopping drivers tires caught and over she went. dented the drivers fender so bad you could get the hood open.. cracked the windshield, couple dents on the hood, snapped off mirrors etc, it rolled on the front, didnt even touch the offroad lights on the roll bar..
and it rolled 1.5 times came to rest on the passenger side..tried to push it over by hand, nope aint gonna happen grab the ranger and pull him back rubber side down. had to tow him home again. the end..haha
i've had to pull that s10 out god knows how many times... he's been wedged between trees, high centered.. damn kid!!

^^^ because the owner of the camera that its on, is an *******.. and i dont see him too often anymore.. saw him briefly this morning for a few mins but that was it, the guy steals stuff from stores (he took a 200 dollar pellet gun, knives, them foldable pliers from Canadian Tire) and he's violent sometimes..in 2008 when we were chilling out at the nieghbours house ( it was our "hangout" spot) he's threaten to beat up my dad and stuff.. he smoked me in face one day gave me 2 black eyes and a swollen face.. so i choose not to socialize with him anymore. the neighbour friend aint so bad and it sounds like he's finally "learning" that this other guy is a dink.. i'll start an "ex friend" thread in the off topic section and tell the whole story. because i dont wanna thread jack its not cool lol

ya but "steve" drives a white grand marquis with black rims and the cop siren thingy.. looks like a cop ghost car. haha.. "dave" is the one with the s10 and its not bad...

go ahead hit the flame switch........I personally LOVE a S10 i've owned 3 of them all proved bulletproof until the got totalled, from uncontrollable causes. i still own a 88 S10 Blazer with a 90 model 4.3 comp cam and TH700R4 trans with B&M shiftkit and yank torque converter has no problem snatching the front end over a 5 gal bucket. the damn thing won't go over 82 MPH but it gets there just as fast...if not FASTER than some of the V8 rangers on here

go ahead hit the flame switch........I personally LOVE a S10 i've owned 3 of them all proved bulletproof until the got totalled, from uncontrollable causes. i still own a 88 S10 Blazer with a 90 model 4.3 comp cam and TH700R4 trans with B&M shiftkit and yank torque converter has no problem snatching the front end over a 5 gal bucket. the damn thing won't go over 82 MPH but it gets there just as fast...if not FASTER than some of the V8 rangers on here
