Yea I hear ya...I'm not lifted but I have to use a step ladder for the roof. It's a PITA at times.

Ha, its called hang out your door and hold on.

To get to the center of my hood or engine compartment on my Bronco, I have to climb up on the tire.

Just use a brush, I went to a detailing store and bought a pretty expensive brush with an extending handle. It works awesome and doesn't scratch like the cheap walmart ones. (this one was 60 bucks)

It's a gentle balance between washed and clean.

Basically, I go get it covered in mud, so that the ladies will go "ooh look at that dirty truck, i really want to get dirty with the driver".

But, inevitably the ladies don't come, black people just look at me funny. So then I proceed to hit big water puddles until my truck is generally clean.

Then, a 90 degree day comes around and I head to the local carwash and get my baby shiny.

I get in my bed/ on my toolbox to wash the roof and I can get the top of the windshield from there of by standing on the ground.

Try washing a Dodge 3500 dually. Its a monster. You have to climb up on the tires to wash the hood and windshield, and you still have to reach far to get the middle. For the top of the cab, you have to climb up like 4 feet to get in the bed, and reach far to get the top front of the cab.

I can wash my ranger in about 30 minutes....its really easy.

LOL, does mark need a "how to" wash a big truck :-)

Mines lifted, but then again im 6'3......i can reach the center of the hood fine, but the top of truck i open my door and stand on my step bars......put alittle soap on the sponge and wash while the door is open, if your easy, it goes right down the windshield....instead of in the truck... then jump down, close the door and spray it off...

Since i have a fiberglass bed cover i cant stand in my bed anymore, but that made it the easiest before i had it..

I prefer lifted. I wash the underneath of my truck just as much as the exterior. Its not hard to lift the pressure washer above the roof.

I'm stock but with the hi-rise camper it's a pain to wash. Me only being 5' 6" doesn't help much either. I use a step ladder to get the hood, roof, and camper. Waxing all this paint is even more fun............not. I only wax 2-3 times a year so it isn't too bad.
