I'm looking at getting a new set of headlights for my ranger i'm looking at getting a set of 35watt 6000k hid lights, now on to the question. I'm stuck between 3 pairs the first pair is the standard blacked out lights which look nice I have a black truck so I think it would look sweet, now the second choice Is the same as the first however it's a chrome backing with smoked lenses. 2001-2006 FORD RANGER HEADLIGHTS+CORNER SMOKE 2003 2005 on eBay.ca (item 110544090175 end time 15-Jun-10 1846 EDT)

the third and final choice was a set of those black halo projector hid's which look the best I think however I've heard alot of problems such as they don't fit snuggly in place, they can be a pain to adjust, i've heard that after market hid's won't fit in the housing's and the final thing is the projctors cut off some light. So first off please give me your opinions on these three and second sorry for the punctuation but I'm on a cell phone right now.

 

Do a search on after market projectors - we already have 3 or 4 different threads that are rather highly detailed - they do fit in a stock housing if you find the right type.. and the problem with an HID kit - is that you dont get a true high and low beam, you are usually stuck just using lows - which in some parts of the country isnt such a good idea at night time
