Air Horn Question

Air Horn Question
Ok, I got a set of old International Air horns and cant decide if I want to put them on my truck or not. I know the biggest electrcial air pump made for air horns is not enough to push these so that means I need a tank. What would I all need to hook these up? Doesnt matter so me if the solenoid valve is electrical or manual like a little chain. I need an air pump but is there any kind that turn off when the tank reaches a certain psi? What would be a proper size tank? I can get almost any size at the farm store.

Wait for one to pop up around the forums. RPS has them all the time.
I recommend the 380c since it's a constant duty cycle compressor. 2.5gal with one horn and one compressor won't be too spendy but enough for you to have fun with.
Bliztluft valves are $35 shipped, fittings run about $50 or so, depend on application, hoses run about $40-50 again depending on what you want, glowshift in cab pressure gauge if you want something like that runs $40 or so shipped, wiring and misc parts are about $20 or so.
Compressors usually pop up for about $80 on forums or so, and tanks also pop up for pretty cheap. Keep your eyes peeled man.
All else fails, ask Trent, Evan, Beard, Shane, Korey or myself. We seem to know our stuff about products and installations on this forum.

Thanks for the info. I have almost everything already except for a pressure valve and compressor. I guess I will just keep waiting until I see something but I am not forking over the money for something new like that. That is outrageous on the prices for what little of a pump you get. We just bought a brand new 20 gallon compressor for only $150 at work.
