stock upper camber brackets

2002 Ranger 2WD . Just replaced my upper control arms . Does anyone know what position the stock "D" camber plates should be installed. I didn't see what position they were in when I removed the bolts.

It depends on each vehicle. Get an alignment to fix it. Why did you replace the control arms anyways?

The upper ball joints were worn to the point of almost pulling out of the socket. It was easier to change the control arm/ball joint assembly than press out the old ball joints. When you have it professionally aligned. Do they replace the alignment plates?

Ah, i see. I forgot becuase my DJM arms you can take them in and out.

No, they don't replace the cam bolts. They just bolt them in the right orientation so your wheels are perfect. You can usually get really close by using a tape measure and being careful.

I just changed my upper control arms on my 03 2wd (coil springs).

2 things....You can probably see some sort of a rust outline where they sat for the last xxxxxxx miles. On mine you can see an outline clearly, and I put it back in the same spot.

Also, for some reason, for coil spring trucks, MOOG arms are not greasable, no nipples, and do not seem to be pressfit! I do not know why, but I seem to be a bit dissappointed.

Any the stock alignment cams that I have seen in every picture (the oval ones) are not present on my truck. A flag bolt on one side, and a square washer on the other side.

Can anyone comment on this?
