My 2000 Ranger from the UP of Michigan

My 2000 Ranger XLT Name: 014.jpg

Size: 136.4 KB Here is my other 4 wheeler a 2008 Polaris Sportsman 500 Name: 011.jpg
Views: 214
Size: 117.0 KB Not very rusty considering the winter salt 102000 miles on it I am a paralized from the chest down. I like the truck because it is not very high off the ground & I can put my wheelchair behind the seat with no problem. I installed hand controlls & a steering wheel spinner. Since I got it last fall I added the back cover, new bfg tires & sound system.

hand controls

I had to make my own brackets because the controls were made for a GM. I used some old bed angle iron.I got to paint the surface rust on the metal peice I attached it to & don't pay no attenion to the dirty floor I wiil take care of that. Name: 001-1.jpg

your in true snow country! I am in the " banana" belt in the southern part, we sure see our fair share of snow, but not everyday like you guys, especially north wind off of superior, watch out! Beautiful country! It turns out alot of people throughout the country do not know where the UP is and I would like to keep it that way, haha. The only bad thing is the road salt.

this season we had 282 inches the most we had was 390 . I got 60 youtube videos I took. they are not much but sometimes I throw my camera in my pocket when I go on my ATV. I have not taken any recent videos. My youtube user name is keweenaw. Here is one I took when I came across a guy I knew that drove his ATV off a ledge.

Holy crap! Your missing out I go up there every summer and fall. Ill tell you what the Upper Peninsula is freakin heaven. I really want to move up there, hopefully to Munising. You really need to go and make sure you visit Lake of The Clouds in the porcupine mtns.

welcome ... i absolutley love the UP, spent last summer in minocqua, wisconsin

heres some pics of mtn biking around copper harbor i took
some midwest riding a guy from CA enjoyed - Mtbr.com Forums

not sure how much id love it in winter but maybe i should move and find out ... id have to buy a cheaper truck though i hear a prerequisite for living in the UP is having your quad or snowmobile be worth more than your truck, plus my 1wd wonder will do nothin but get stuck
