So now it's mine; and finding lots of little things to fix; doesn't cause problems; just annoying.

1st is a pain, I think it's the door jamb/latch switch. The dome light was missing all it's bulbs; replaced them and sometimes they go off, sometimes they don't. I soaked the door latch with teflon spray, and that got them to come on & go off most times. I don't think I've seen a door adjar light (could be bulb is out?) and no chime at all for anything (door, key, lights, etc)

I'm going to need to replace the lock actuators as they are just to weak to do anything; do I need to replace the switches too, or just clean them up? If replace which ones do I need? Rockauto has like 8 choices; guess it's either the $12/$18 pair or the $19/$21pair (of course it can't be the $5 ones!)
If someone has an amazon link I have some dollars on there to spend.

Is there a writeup/video to replace the spare tire winch? What all will I need to fix/replace? All I see is a wire hanging down an ince & cutoff.

It does feel like the seats (split 60/40) slide just slightly at stop/takeoff, maybe 1/2" or so. Is there something to tighten up, or fix to stop this?

I did find the instrument cluster backlighting writeup on here, it is AWESOME! I'm going to do that soon, are these led's on amazon what I need for backlighting & warnings?

Oh, what is my payload capacity in the bed?

Looks like the bumper tow is 200 tongue, 2000 total weight.

Oh, and what is the compability of parts? ie what years are interchangable with 99, other models, etc?

 

Mine also a 99. I took out the whole door latch assembly and took off the switchs and cleaned them with mass flow module cleaner and worked it back and forth, repaeated 2 or three times, reasembled have worked like a champ even in sub-zero.
