THe best anti-theft system for free is to already have been thefted (defined as: already stolen broken into). Think about it, if it is anti-theft, then the original action must be thefted.

I bet it is either the fuel pump inertia switch, ignition lock cylinder, or PATS system related.

This thread is becoming really f**king stupid...

Guessing the correct answer for this thread is like winning the Special Olympics...it doesn't matter whether you win or lose, you are still retarded!

Don't joke...I had an ex gf stuff dog feces in my door handles (yes, I touched it unknowingly), smeared/streaked the passenger side with it (from "Ranger" to the rear wheel well), and clumped some more on my frame rails!

Yes, guys...that IS true...Moral of this response: Don't bring another woman you are talking to home with you to hang out...especially when your psycho gf makes a spare key of your house without you knowing...

I am actually very pissed off reading this thread. it never should have been started and since it has been. the answer should have been revealed shortly after the post was started.

ya, but i went to bed and never thought it would get this long.

the answer is: truck wouldnt shift out of park regardless of what ya did. took to dealer this am, turned out to be some kind of switch or something.

7. Post Whoring - Please do not post for the sake of posting. People will enjoy a good joke, but a post with no meaning or interesting content is a waste of resources and other people's time. If you want to just blab about nothing, do it somewhere else.

HEY! I had the same thing happen to me.

For future reference if the dealer didn't tell you can get around it, but turning the key to start, but not starting the truck, putting it in neutral, then starting the truck.

Never did figure out what "switch" they were talking about, but it wasn't an expensive fix.

it still could have been pulled on to a flatbed, so it still could have been stolen
