Wanted EATC components...
Just wondering if anyone could locate me the sensors and blend door motor...
I have a 2001 Display, and I am in need of the outside air temp. sensor the interior temp. sensor the sun load sensor and blend door motor. If anyone can help me get these parts it would be greatly apriciated... and if soo I could send you some auto up relays or dome lights like in the taurus and explorer. There are a ton of them in my area but no EATC parts.
If you can help me out please Email me @

John Griggs is THE expert on the EATC mod and he says that it is a waste to install a used blend door actuator. A junkyard actuator is a pain to remove and can be unreliable. Dealers replace them regularly in high-miles Explorers for several hundred dollars parts and labor. A new actuator is only $40 or so at the dealer.
The rest of the sensors are easily removed from a junkyard vehicle. Keep in mind that you can use parts from 1995~2001 Explorers and Mountaineers w/EATC. The most important thing to remember while you're at the JY is to get all of the pigtails for every part. Your installation will be far more difficult without them.

Eric, I might be heading out to that junkyard by the Ford plant in Chicago Heights this Saturday. I'm going to see if I can pick up an OHC for any cheaper than the other place. I drove by it while working today but couldn't stop (nowhere to park the semi) it looked like everything was pretty well picked over in there since it is a u-pull-it yard, but I'll let you know.
