i want to do more mods but ive seen all the ones on this site
and the mod bug has hit , is the another sites that have more ranger mods????

 

There's always the "pay for other members mods" mod. Try that one. Its my favorite so far. Gives lotz of horsepowa!!!!

I dunno what mods you're trying to do but there's tons on this site that you haven't done, whether you've seen them or not. Also, on the "how-to" section of this forum, there's completed how-tos on the first page but there's a subforum of how-to submittals.

lets go with what mods have you done?

from your signature, it looks like you did a tuneup (repair, not a mod) fixed the stretch in your throttle cable (repair, not a mod) cut holes in your airbox (does almost nothing, except make your intake louder, not a mod in my books) re-aligned your front bumper (repair, not a mod) put tint on, and did the fog light thing

so you put tint on, and made your foglights come on with the high beams... i've done more than you and i haven't even had my truck a week yet...

headlight painting, cb radio, xenon headlights, sound system, lower it, put a tonneau on it, custom paint it, put a turbo on it, put a super charger on it, put nitrous in it, led accent lighting, led/neon ground effects, corner (marker) signal mod, 2 tone hood, new seats, new dash inlay, gas lift shocks on hood, nice rims/tires, if you have a standard, you could put the fx4 level II shift lever/boot/**** on, re-paint it, custom interior, body kit to match your STX front bumper, shaved door locks, door poppers and shaved door handles, auto down passenger window, auto start, ABS mod, new hood, shall I continue?

if your saying there just repairs why are they called mods in the How To's:
and there are other mods i plan on doing just haven't got to them yet

no, i don't think they are mods, if you did an oil change, would that be the oil mod? if you replaced the tires with new stock ones, is that a tire mod? is there a re-fueling mod? things that you do because something is wearing, to bring it back to stock condition is not a mod (read MODIFICATION) modification is something done to make it DIFFERENT

the swiss cheese mod, all it does is open new holes for the air to get into the air box through, the hole that is in there from the factory is the same size, or bigger, than your throttle body, not to mention the restriction of the air filter, there is never going to be more demand out of a stock motor than what that tube will create, the difference you notice is that you are punching holes for the air to go through, so it does not go through the silencer (which does not rob ANY horsepower AT ALL) so all you are doing is making the intake louder... i know this because i had a friend with a ricer civic and that was the first thing he did, and even he admitted to me that it did PHUK ALL!

humor me though, go borrow a stock air filter housing, and dyno test it... i bet you see no difference

now my angry sounding message aside, i'm not trying to discourage you from doing actual mods to your truck, i'm trying to support you, just don't kid yourself, thinking that there is no more that you can do... you even said there are more you are planning, but haven't gotten to yet, why didn't you do them before you posted this thread?

what are you planning on doing anyways? i am interested to know
