Just Need Some Opinions On Tire Size

you guys have already helped me decide what I'm going to do for the future, but I just recently realized the sidewalls on my p.o.s. tires are starting to go, so my need for tires has dramatically increased but I don't have the cash yet for the lift and all I need to run the size I'd like... what would you do, should I run 33's on my stock edge torquing the torsions for fit, or should I run 32's for now on a 8" rim? I would like a wider tire but I'm thinking putting a wide 33 may give me some problems... that and I don't want to risk my ball joint life..

I would run 32 on a stock suspension. 33's are gonna give you some problems.

I have ran 33's or 35's on basically stock suspension for a long time and have had NO problems.

I had 33x12.50's on 15x8 on my truck for about 3 months before the lift. Just had to crank the bars and I had an add-a-leaf in the rear and take off the front mud flaps. Only rubbed very rarely, I think you would be fine with right backspacing.

I have a x2 style side (straight bed) reg. cab 5 speed, I can run the 32's with stock gearing but won't I have to change it for 33's?

If you have 4.10 gears, youll be fine... but if its lower, you may want to look at eventually swapping teh gearing out to a 4.56

whats the rule of thumb when it comes to picking a tire width for a rim width, how wide can you go on stock wheels? right now I think I have 235/75/15. how the hell do you calculate from I guess it's metric(235/75/15) to Inches like(32/10.5/15), I mean how do you find out the metric size thats equals to be the same size as the inches, or is there such a thing??
