Shock Travel Ratio Math Crap that I don't understand help

OK I didn't know how to title this.

Is there a way to find out how much travel of a shock you can run on a IRS set-up without binding CVs?

This is the problem I am having.

This is quad related: My quad is IRS front and back. I have 7.1 Inches travel up front and 8.1 Inches travel in the rear.

Up front I can run a 9.1inch travel YFZ450 shock without any binding problems.

Now if I run this 9.1 Inch travel shock on the rear of my king it will bind the CVs.

This is due to the angles of the brackets and so on. So what I am trying to do is find out a way to measure the travel needed without binding CVs.

Thanks
Josh

P.S. hope this made since

there no mathematical equation that will tell you when it binds unless you know the angle the cv's will function properly. Pull the shocks off and feel when they are binding, then measure... done.

I know when the CVs bind but since they are at a angle the travel would be diffrent. If it was going strait up and down that would work, but being at a angle I need to use less of a travel shock.

For example: My wheel could go up 3 inches while my shock only moves 1/2 inch.

Hmm that just gave me a idea. But I still don't know how accurate its gunna be

Accually ALON you may be right I was thinking diffrent at the moment.....hmmmm I just wonder how accurate it will be
