New Front Bumper - Alternatives to OEM???
I destroyed my front bumper the other day. The dealership wants 406.73 for the bumper. It's hard to fork over that much money and not really gain anything, so I'm looking aftermarket.
I'm not a fan of the pre-runner bumpers. Most aftermarket bumpers I have seen look weird on stock trucks. I like the clean look of the stock bumper. I'm looking for ideas & suggestions.
Heres the front end of my truck:

keep a stock bumper but id look around at a junkyard or on here for an 01+ bumper and just get that painted to match... no sense is spending on new like you said when your really not gaining anything..
or check out those prerunner sites because they all get rid of their bumpers for the most part

My bumper is also in baddd condition. Stress marks visible in the plastic, 5' tear near the foglights, and it's being held on to the truck with superglue. I went to my local fab shop to get a quote on a plate bumper (I had pics to give him an idea), it is a simple design and he quoted me approximately $2000 yeah two grand for a fing bumper. Until I can have somebody build me a decent one for a good price or buy one from somebody I'll keep glueing my plastic crap. After being torn off the truck 2 times it's in bad shape.

Try contacting Road Armor, theirs start out around 1100 or so. They may even give you a discount for being the guinea pig (sp?) or even Fab Fours, well, if either those are local enough to drive out there and leave the truck there for a couple days.
I couldn't find the Address, but Road Armor's phone # is 425-328-7194
and FabFours is located in Durango, CO, phone # is (866) 469-9056
