new lights have wierd wire

I finally recieved my new LED tailights from ebay today, the first thing i noticed when i opened them up is that they have some sort of control box and a strange looking cable that looks like it would hook up to a computer, does anyone know how the hell i'm supposed to wire these up to my truck, the lights came with no instructions.

ya stupid me, i figured it out when i first saw that connector it never occured to me that the bulb comes out of the socjet i thought i was supppose to be looking for one of those 2 prong wire connectors or something but i finally got them wired up and i love the way they look, my only concern is that some of the screws wont go all the way into the holes howeve rthe light housings are tight and solid. so i don't think it will be a problem.

Does the OEM Socket connect to the back of the light or does it just hang there ?
Mine reconnected after plugging in that plug and that is the best way to keep out the dirt.
If not then make sure to seal up the socket as much as possible.
