Neil, go back to page one if you don't know the color. There should be some pictures.

It's Purple, though. I call it the 'Splish Splash'

Thanks man! My Dad recently sent me some pictures my Mom took of the truck, well -- actually my Mom sent them to me as my Dad don't know how to use a computer, but anyay... The pictures were great! That thing is so nice they said. My Dad was trying to sell it for profit, lol, but he said after he cleaned it up more to 'our' standards, that it was so nice, he turned down $5,000 for it. I bought it for a DARN good price...my old Splash is kinda a beater now, since the guy didn't take care of it and he is asking $2,500. I offered him $1,500, since it would need some work...he said no. I bought mine for a teeny over the price he is asking.

Yeah.. I am STOKED to get the bumper cover painted, the air dam painted, the roll pan, get me some headlights and tail-lights and call it a day! Well, then there are the speakers, deck and all that cool stuff. Auto up/down windows, etc. AHH!! The mod-bug strikes again!

w00t!! I just got some pictures of this Tonneau Cover! Man, I don't believe the $100 thing! It's so nice! And to be already painted in MY color already. What are the odds? Luck is in my favor..

Here is a picture of my Dad [left] and our best buddy, Dave [right] getting it into the garage. Dave is self-employed as an auto mechanic, "If It Fitz Repairs". His name is Dave Fitz..."If It Fitz..." Get it? ok...moving on..

Nice thing about having a stepside bed, is that a regular sided truck can haul it!

What a nice and clean underside!

How about that shine?! Throw a coat of wax on that puppy, buff it up and it'll be a beautiful addition to the truck!

Hey! It's my first mod! Not bad for $100. I am considering another sunroof...

Here you all have it, the finished product awaiting myself at home. I will be ordering the bumper cover, airdam and roll pan sooner or later -- but that will wait for me to install. I might have my Dad get it painted at our guy's shop before hand as well. Also, getting a new 93-94 Splash style grill.

On to the pictures!

So I call home today and my crazy Dad gets all excited and grabs the phone from my Mother and says, "Hey son! How are you?" I answer and I say, "I am doing good."

He continues on, "So, I was in you're truck today, driving around and I decided to see if it would do as good a burnout as my old Dakota the one day in the school parking lot."

"Oh lord", I said.

"So I went over to the school parking lot and tried it out!" "Went all the way from the football field to the main office. I got a little in second gear too!" "What IS this thing you got over here?"

I answered, "Well, it's like my OLD Splash. Remember when I smoked the Continental [4.6 V8, 32V] and I gave the Mustang a run and had the SVT Focus barely walk me?" "All those little imports couldn't believe it in Florida, took out a few in DC...come on, you know what it is! Stop playin'!"

"This thing is faster than you're old Splash, son. I think it might have a chip or something. I have driven you're Mustang, and I seriously think this would put a hurtin' on it."

So now I am wondering if there was some big change from 94 to 95. I know that there were some differences in pistons, intake and a few other minor things -- but could it be THAT big of a difference in a model year?

Not only is my Dad doing burnouts in my truck, now he wants to go race people! hah! My Dad is nuts!
