i am having the winch on a hitch compatible plate so it will only be on the front when i need it.

the front plate is 33 inches accross, 7 inches tall, and the middle after the step down is 5 inches tall. the step down is a 45 degree angle exactly.
anymore deminsions needed?

do you want me to make a pic of it with labels for the deminsions?? would that help anybody???

I was thinking of that last night, rolling around with a plywood bumper. I think it would help.

did some more cutting today, since the steel is 1/4 by 12 inch tall channel. i am cutting all the front plates so that i can 1 channel edge facing down which will give the bumper alot of support! (instead of having to reinforce more)

using a 10 inch table saw with a metal cutting blade. SMOOTH AS BUTTER!!

ill get more pics if you guys want???

You could cut the holes then weld in a angle cut piece of pipe aiming straight. Seabass did this with his bumper, just with tubing instead of pipe.

project kinda stalling... i had to get more steel. fortunatley i got a BIG piece and i mean BIG!!! according to mike (the guy who gets me it free from work says ITS SCRAP!) 14 inch wide, 7 foot long piece of 1/4 inch with 11/16 channeling!!!! its weighs like 200 lbs. i only need like 6x6 inches of it!! haha
also, he got me 2 2x2 6 ft square tubing for the back bumper and some other thinner scrap. so ill post some pics tommorw

i also hooked up a hitch to build into my rear bumper for 20 bucks off craigslist.

my bumper is SOOOO SICK!!! project stalled for about 3 weeks, but last couple of days, i have become a slave!!

I DO HAVE AN EXCUSE FOR WHY ITS TAKING ME SOO LONG!!!
i got a 3 in bl, and some 35x14.5 TSL Super Swampers, and an 8000 lb winch
and ive been wheelin a ton!!! so... yah!

im at school now, so i have no pics, but when i get home i will post em up!!

i cut welded and bolted up the entire rear bumper, (gotta weld on D-Ring Mounts)

my friend is borrowing his Wire Feed MIG Welder from his brother so we have been messin around alot with it.

the front bumper is so sick lookin!! 3 front plates welded and one top piece on, gotta cut some more steel.

weve been puttin down fat welds on each side, and then grinding it down smooth..

also, i hooked up a sandblaster from another friend, and im gona play with that later to get all the rust offf...

still need to find a place to get powder coating done...
