Put most of that money toward school and do a few upgrades to your existing truck. I think school is way more important than having a new truck. I know I know..... you just graduated and dont even want to think about more school, but if i had the chance to do it all over, I would have loved to have the education i have now back when i was a kid. Man..... so many more options!!!!!
Or, get the new truck, party your *** off, and try not to get into too much trouble. Youre only young once. And watch out for Mr. DUI, you never know when he'll strike.

8K a year, times 4 years = 32K. Even if you get the scholarship, you're probably looking at what, maybe 16K.
My suggestion is pay for collage. Then do your time in the Air Force, and pile up some case while you're in.
If you do it right, you can still have a good time and come out with enough cash to pay for a new truck. (If you still want one 7-8 years from now.)

take the 20 grand, put it in a savings account the second you get it. keep the truck you have now and drive it till you're done with school. If you get the scholarship, great... dont touch the money. If you dont get it, then you have the money saved up and you STILL have your truck to drive.

Take the money for school man. The scholarship isn't always guaranteed. I went all 4 years w/out a ROTC because I screwed up my freshman year, and when I got everything back to qualify, the AF changed the standards. if anything, as Alon said, keep the money in a savings account. If you need it for school you got it, and if not, buy yourself a shiny new Lieutenant mobile when you graduate.
