Heres what im gonna suggest (I know some will not agree with me).
My exhaust is Magnaflow. I love the sound. its deep and agressive, but not obtrusive and doesnt cause excessive resonating while cruising on the freeway like my old Flowmaster did.
Im not a fan of body lifts. They are cheap, but you should do suspension IMO. Superlift and RCD are the standard, but you can get long travel kits from Dixon Bros Racing and I think Camburg makes a 4x4 long travel kit. Those are really expensive. Most people get RCD or Superlift (do a search on them)
not sure about your shifting problem, my ranger is a wussy automatic lol. Try getting a real tuner such as the SCT X-Cal2 and then you can customize the parameters of the tune. When you buy it from somewhere like www.rogueperformance.com
, they send you 3 different tunes that you can use. Thats better then the Jet chip or whatever you have now.
Hope that helps, Im sure youre going to get plenty more advice from other people! Welcome to the site!
