are 15x8 tires a nice size?

31x30.50? thats a wide tire my friend. 31x12.5x15 or 31x10x15 is a normal size.

That's a popular rim size, you said you needed tires? You can fit a wide range on that wheel size. From 10.5 to 12.5" wide.
